Ramanujar 1000 - Kutty Ramanujar Yatra to Thirunindravur :)
நின்றவூர் நின்ற நித்திலத் தொத்தினை....
Kutty Ramanujar saw Thirunindravur Bakthavatsala Perumal Garuda sevai today. He also worshipped EriKatha Ramar and enjoyed the beauty of Thiruninravur lake (Thiruninravur Eri) originally known as Varuna Pushkarni behind that temple.
Saint Ramanuja's sister Nachiyarammal and her husband Sri Anantha Narayana Dikshithar were on a pilgrimage to Tirumala to worship Lord Venkateswara for the boon of childbirth. At the night, they rested at the Eri Katha Ramar temple at Thirunindravur.
During the night, Lord Rama appeared in the dream of Sri Anantha Narayana Dikshithar promising that he would be born as a son to them. Hence they named their son as Dasarathi. Later Dasarathi became a sishya of his maternal uncle Ramanujar and came to be called as Mudaliandan.
