"Salutations to the one who brought to the fore the greatness of such dieties as Lord Ranganatha and Sri Venkateshwara."
It is a well known fact of history that the revival of Hindu spiritual development was effected by Sri Ramanuja at a time when there was a threat to the very survival of traditional Vedic religion. It is to the credit of Sri Sankaracharya that he found a mid way between the extreme ritualist mimamsakas and the God-denying Buddhists. His teachings got waylaid and misinterpreted gradually. Eminent Acharyas like Nathamuni following the teachings of Alwars, however, reinstated the almost lost ancient ways of
devotion and temple tradition. Ancient shrines like Srirangam and Tirupati were brought to the fore. The culmination of this movement is characterised by the achievements of Ramanuja.
प्रकटीकृत means 'publicized by whom'. वैभव means greatness.
