sense of fulfilment that the parents of such an illustrious son would have
experienced.

Sri Ramanuja is called the dearest associate of Sri Kanchipurna. He was
actually a trusted preceptor of Sri Ramanuja.

Sri Kanchipurna was capable of talking with Lord Devaraja. It was he who decisively guided Sri Ramanuja in respect of fixing the goal of his life-mission.

Sri Ramanuja once
pleaded with Sri Kanchipurna to let him know the ruling of Lord Vardaraja
in this matter. The six sentences of Lord Varadaraja conveyed through Sri Kanchipurna to Sri Ramanuja are very famous in our sampradayam.

प्रणत is one who surrenders. प्रणतार्ति is प्रणत’s ‘aarti’ (distress). प्रणतार्तिविनाशकाय means ‘to the one who dispels or destroys the distress of those who seek him for help. नमः is the term expressing devotion and surrender.

It is the experience and decided opinion of all our purvacharyas that Sri Ramanuja is a force to reckon with in removing all our physical mental and spiritual obstacles and agonies.

the name of Sri Ramanuja’s mother. So Sri Ramanuja is addressed as
Kantimati’s son. Kantimati is the sister of Sri Tirumala Nambi Swamy (Sri
Shailapoornar). He had another sister called Periya Piratti. Her son was
Govinda, a close confidant of Sr Ramanuja, who later came to be called Embar,
a great Master.
