Infosys Narayan Murthy !!

 Received from a friend -sharing.

I boarded flight- Bangalore to Mumbai, economy class - my bag in overhead bin & took my aisle seat. There was an old person next to me on the window seat.

I had a presentation in Mumbai, so took my documents & started going through them for the final time before the presentation. After 15–20 minutes I was done with my documents, so I put them away and started looking out of the window, and suddenly I looked at the face of this person sitting next to me. I thought I have seen him somewhere.

He was old, his face, the suit was not very expensive, & he was replying to some mails or going through some documents. I exactly don’t know. I noticed his shoes, they were average quality.

Something stuck me and I asked him:
*“Are you Mr. Narayana Murthy?”*

He looked at me, smiled & replied, *“Yes, I am.”*

I was shocked !
For one second I had no idea what to say next. I looked at him again. His shoes, his suit, his tie and his specs. Everything was average. This guy was worth $2.3 Billion and co-founded Infosys.

I always wanted to become super rich so that I can buy all the luxury & travel business class. He could buy the airlines and yet he was sitting next to me in economy class!

I again asked: Why are you travelling in economy class & not business class?

He replied:
“Do Business class people reach early?”

& then introduced myself, “Hello sir! My name is X & I am a trainer and I work with many MNCs PAN India.”

He put his phone away and started listening to me, he also asked few questions and answered the questions I asked. We both went down deep into the conversation until I asked a question which was about to change my life entirely.

I questioned: Sir, You are so successful & have made so many good decisions in your life. Something you regret?

He got intense look on his face, thought for a while & answered,
“Sometimes my knee hurts, I should have taken better care of my body. When I was young I was so busy working that I never got time to take care of myself & now even if I want to work more, I can’t - body doesn’t permit.”

You are young. You are smart & ambitious - don’t repeat my mistake . Take proper care of your body & take proper rest. This is the only body you have got!

That day I learned 2 things, one that he told me & another that he showed me!

Being rich not about owning things
I got what I needed
What a great & down to earth human being & so successful

Many other.....

These are the people who stayed here and founded great companies to solve India's problems. Don't you use Ola or Oyo? If these companies would not have been here probably the market would be captured by Uber or Airbnb or any other American giants.

While we celebrate Indian origin CEOs of global companies, These people are staying here and inspiring the youth to build here.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai

Google CEO Sundar Pichai
(He gave a speech in only 60 seconds) He said:

Imagine life is a game of 5 balls that you manipulate in the air trying not to fall these balls. One of them is rubber, and the rest is glass.

The five balls are:
Work, family, health, friends, soul.

It will not be long before you realize that (work) is a rubber ball. Whenever you fall, you will jump again, while the other balls are made of glass. If one of them falls, it will not return to its previous form.

It will either be damaged, bruised, cracked or even scattered.

You have to be aware of that and strive for it.

Manage your work efficiently during working hours, take the time to be assured of your sincerity, give the necessary time to your family and friends, take appropriate rest, and take care of your health. If you are gone, it isn't easy to return as it was.

My Inspiration

12/09/2020, on this date, my sadness, anger, all took place together.
My aunt (doddamma/periamma) (mother’s elder sister), Mrs. Prabha Devi, left all of us & reached heaven on the auspicious day of Sri Krishna Jayanthi, celebrated the festival wholeheartedly & left all of us. I would rather love to call her as my mother other than calling her as aunt ❤ She was such a great path maker & a good guide ๐Ÿ˜š She was also a school teacher ๐Ÿซ of mathematics n science ๐Ÿ‘ฉ She was also a divine guru for me as well ๐Ÿ˜‡ I also learnt many topics from her ๐Ÿ˜Š When my mother had to go for her work, I had to get a new uniform for my school๐Ÿซ I was seated n thinking’s what to do & then my aunt asked me as what happened & I replied back as nothing much aunty, as tomorrow is June 1st, have to put ๐Ÿ†™ a new uniform & go to school ๐Ÿซ because there was a problem in my old uniform ๐Ÿ˜ฏ For this her reply was that as why was I thinking so much for a small reason, come we shall go & buy a new uniform for you & this is just a small example & as well as a good memory of mine from my schooling days about her ๐Ÿ˜˜ She also taught me many life lessons ๐Ÿ™ In this generation, other’s children are thrown & pushed into the well to check the depth of the well but my periamma felt me as her own daughter & I have to remember this till my last breath ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ˜™ It’s been an year for today in losing her from our lives according to the date but it’s not even a single second spent by me in remembering her till today in the name of god & I shall move on further in my life. By remembering my doddamma, I have to remember an other person & that person is my mother’s eldest sister, C. R. Ramadevi. Even she was an example for me, my inspiration she was ๐Ÿ˜ She was managing everything in the same way like her other sisters ๐Ÿ˜‡ By seeing these to great people in my life as example, I need not go out in search of other people but I have also learnt that even I should b an example to others ๐Ÿ˜š Miss you doddamma. I will always remember you as if you are with us only & continue doing my work ๐Ÿ˜Œ The words which you have told, are all remembered very nicely ๐Ÿ’— There’s not even a single day spent without remembering you doddamma ๐Ÿ˜š Love you eternal! ❤๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ™

Sri Krishna Jayanthi/ Gokulastami/ Krishnaastami 2021

When this occasion of Sri Krishna Jayanthi appears, I get to remember so many memories; in that, it relates to my mother’s elder sister, Smt. C.R. Prabha Devi(Periamma/doddamma), her excitement, the words she used to say, like in the same way Krishna should hold us together, need to prepare various dishes & eatables, it’s getting late, etc was told by her every year ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜ It’s very less whatever is said about her in any manner ๐Ÿ˜‡ The date she left us all was on 12/09/2020, the way she celebrated Sri Krishna Jayanti was fabulously fabulous ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’– Being fasting from morning, the ritual offering of water to krishna that day, then she broke her fast after consuming the ritual water. 11/09/2020’s morning, she woke ๐Ÿ†™, without having anything for her stomach, again in the evening there’s Krishna’s Aarti going to happen, devotees, family members & friends are gonna arrive, etc were the sentences said by her, when 25 people were fed & served by her own hands of the eatables & dishes like chakkali, thengolu, muchore, kodubale, Manohara unde etc were packed & then she had her food & she also said as she is being highly tired when her BP was getting low n she remembered Krishna wholeheartedly & she reached Krishna’s ๐Ÿ  at holy heaven ๐Ÿ˜” When this Krishna Jayanti occurs, many memories arise in everyone‘s hearts & minds ๐Ÿ˜™๐Ÿ˜— And in this, it stays like a tattoo in my memory forever as miss you doddamma & have never felt that you are not with us anymore ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ™ There’s not even a single day that we haven’t remembered you ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿ’Ÿ Your gaiety shall never come on anyone ๐Ÿ‘ Whenever she was doing any job, she used to do it in full and final & never did a partial jobs let whatever may be the reason, by saying all these I am remembering you from the bottom of my heart in this auspicious day of Krishna Jayanti ๐Ÿ’™❤๐Ÿ™

Simultaneously, I wish all my wellwishers a very Happy Krinsha Jayanthi ๐Ÿ˜š May Lord Krishna come to your house this Janmastami & light the lamp of happiness & always engage us in his service ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’—

Jai Sri Krishna ๐Ÿ’–
